Concert Success for TheFunkyChoir.Com!

Well done to our wonderful choir - THEFUNKYCHOIR.COM who performed at The Aquaduct Marina in Church Minshull, Nantwich, Cheshire last Sunday! 

This was our last concert of a very successful year and we were there in full force, singing songs such as 'Who Loves You' by Frankie Valle & The Four Seasons, 'One Love' by Bob Marley and 'Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, etc! 

Some people standing in another section of the Marina said they couldn't believe it when they realised that the choir's singing was 'LIVE MUSIC'! 

We're recruiting again for September so don't hesitate to contact us if you're looking for somewhere to let you hair down, sing your heart out and, most importantly, get funky!

"I just wanted to drop you an email to say how impressed I was with the singing lesson last night. I have never really heard of ‘Speech Level’ singing but am pretty shocked at what a difference it can make.

On the way home from yours I say that choir song which I find difficult just using the ‘Ghog, ghog, ghog’ sound which we were practicing and I was speechless (excuse the pun) to find that I could reach every note and hold it for as long as I needed to without worrying about my breathing. It just goes to show that if I can do it using the ‘Ghog, ghog, ghog’ sound then with some practice I will be able to hit those notes correctly with the proper words." - Lexy Denton (Barbershop Singer)

Great Success @ Big Sing!

We had a great turn out @ 'Big Sing' on Saturday 30th June! The group of people who attended were fantastic at taking direction and managed to finish ALL FOUR SONGS within the space of a day! 

We finished the afternoon by doing a full performance of the newly learnt repertoire which went down very well! Most importantly, we succeeded in our goal of 'having fun through Music'! 

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to our team of helpers Brent Robinson, Sam Daniel Harrison and Stuart McKay and also to our two phenomenal accompanists Josie Mudd and Ruth Cole! We could not have done it without you!
